Not all of my pieces are made from a "stock" design. Many of the original blade blanks were made in hopes that one day they'll be made into a full piece. The current photos in this page were custom orders requesting something special. As new photos are added, a short description will be provided for each one. ******************************************************************* This custom was requested as a "display" piece but they wanted something nice and with orange and green to honor a favorite college. The rest was given the okay to have "artistic liberty". I chose a mirror finish for the beauty and antler for the traditional style of the recipient. The inlay on the sheath was something that had been rolling around in my head for a while and I've been wanting to do. Someone asked me if I could "Make a knife with a snake skin handle" and my response was "I've never tried but I'm sure I can manage it." Being someone to never be deterred from a challenge and never give up, it took 4 months of research and development to get the casting right for the handle, but finally got it.
